Whether it’s your first time leasing a mobile office trailer or your twentieth, it is never a bad idea to review helpful tips.
1. Delivery
Before:
- Modern Building Systems will give your “Site Contact” a call to verify site and other delivery details. We will also let you know the approximate time we will be arriving, but do note that traffic and weather conditions may effect this time.
- Right before arriving to your site your “Site Contact” will receive a call from our delivery driver to verify that we have arrived.
On Arrival:
- The driver will confirm exact drop off location and address any issues or concerns he/she may have in maneuvering to desired spot (note: The drivers need a flat and level ground in order to set up the unit properly).
Setup Procedure:
- Level ground
- Set up blocking
- Set up tie downs (If applicable)
- Set up stairs
- You are responsible for setting up power, plumbing, data or any other services to your unit
2. On-Site Move
Before:
- Clean the area around the unit(s)
- Disconnect any power, plumbing, data, or other service connected to the unit
- Secure all items inside unit (note: Modern Building Systems is not responsible for any damage done to items inside your unit during move)
- Verify that the new destination for the unit will sit on flat and level ground
- Our transportation department will call your “Site Contact” to verify new location and route
On-Site Move Procedure:
- The driver will “Tear Down” the unit (remove tie downs, unblock, remove stairs, etc.)
- The driver will move the unit to its new location
- The driver will conduct the “Setup Procedure” (level ground, set up blocking, tie downs, stairs, etc.)
3. Pick-Up
Before:
- Disconnect any power, plumbing, data or other service connected to the unit
- Clear out any obstacles that may obstruct our service vehicles from picking up the unit
- Remove all items inside the unit
Pick-Up Procedure:
- The driver will “Tear Down” the unit (remove tie downs, unblock, remove stairs, etc.)
- The driver will drive off with the unit
