POSITION : FRAMING ASSEMBLY – (Salem/Aumsville, OR area)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provides support within the Assembly Station by performing assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Instructs the laborers to ensure proper materials are in place for assembly station.
- Framing as it pertains to the assembly of the wall, floor, and roof of modular units.
- Work/operate scissor lift
- Use power and air tools
- Use tape measure to obtain exact measurements for framing of modular units.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
This position typically requires one or more years of construction framing experience. Ability to read blueprints and work at heights up to 20 feet.
This job regularly requires lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and climbing ladders.
MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND
Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring
constant alertness to processes.
The job is often performed under somewhat disagreeable working conditions; exposure to dust, fumes, dirt and noise is frequent.
Compliance with company standards is required.
Support a safe work environment by performing duties in accordance with acceptable, safe work procedures. This includes but is not limited to: reporting all incidents and accidents to your immediate supervisor within 24 hours; maintaining work area in a safe and healthful condition; reporting, and whenever possible correcting, unsafe working conditions; operating vehicles while in the course of employment in a safe and lawful manner; and providing assistance to reduce or eliminate workplace hazards.
This position requires compliance with customer safety requirements when delivering and setting up buildings.
COMPENSATION: $10 – $12.25 DOE
